Food Poems

 

Sunday Brunch No. 1

He:
O come, my shrimp dumpling,
Long enough congee tarried.
Sticky rice! It's red bean paste. 
Bun with me now
To dim sum.
    

She:
Yes, turnip cake, I will bun.
The hour of fried squid is neigh.
Together, taro dumpling,
Spareribs in black bean sauce.
Let’s custard bun now 
To dim sum.
